S.A.M.I. by Midway, is a shooting game, launching rockets controlled with a joystick. SAMI stands for Surface to Air Missile Interceptor. S.A.M.I. also features electronic sounds.
In General, a copy of Sega's Missile game, the airplanes that appear on the screen are printed on a continually moving real similar to a movie strip. The planes are displayed on the play surface using a high power projection bulb (which has its own cooling fan due to the high temperatures this bulb). The player moves a motorized tank left and right, and fires a missiles ahead of on-coming planes.
Once the missile is fired, player has some minor control left and right of their missile. This game also has a slide-out stool for shorter players.
