Game Description:

This game was actually released as Home Run. The original marquee and CRT bezel both say Home Run, although the serial # tag and the PCB are labeled Flyball.

Batter Up!
Designed for top 2-player attraction in any location. Flyball's animation and game play are so realistic it's like playing the real thing.

Take 2 and hit to the right!
Attention-getting attraction mode invites the player with an animated ballplayer running the bases. Flashing instructions on the 23" monitor explain the game.
The game starts with flashing signs pointing to the pitcher and batter, each player set to control his man, the crowd cheers and the first ball is pitched.
Continuous joystick control moves the pitcher's arm realistically. The batter swings. It's a hit! The ball goes into the playfield...the crowd screams louder...the batter runs the bases. The pitcher directs his man to run up, down, left, or right, chasing the ball. When he catches it, he has to tag the base runner before he reaches the base to put him out (allowing 3 or 4 seconds of action play). If he misses the ball, it's a round-tripper and the words "Home Run" flash on the screen!
Players are not required to switch positions when teams change sides after 3 outs. Flashing signs tell each player who is pitching and who is batting.
Innings and scoring appear on the monitor.
Flyball can be played and enjoyed by all ages, all skill levels. Repeat play increases the action and player ability --faster pitches, in-flight curve control, faster swings of the bat for harder hits, and hit placement to any field.
Players can use real-life tactics for bunts, stolen bases, faking the runner off base...You name it!!
